Brand Identity Design

Brand identity and logotype design for Pierre Ricaud – a European lifestyle watch brand positioned against affordable Asian imports through deliberate Parisian character rather than Swiss Made heritage.

The logotype was designed for two contexts: as a standalone wordmark across printed collateral and as a dial signature beneath index 12. The name sits in two offset lines with two custom letterform details – an extended leg on the R reaching beneath the i, and a raised ascender on the d closing the composition on the right.

The positioning line – Paris, London, Milano – carried across warranty cards, tags and promotional materials. The identity remains in use after more than twenty years.
